Verus amicus thesaurus est. A true friend is a treasure. We believe that this is what our friends are worth. Their support, help, and advice are the foundation of this non-profit. We are not alone. For seventeen years, Baja Missions spread the gospel and love in our community. They built houses and provided scholarships. They blessed families and churches. They made it possible for people in our community to have homes and attend school. Baja Missions has been one of our true friends, a friend who is a treasure.

We have been told that Baja Missions is saying goodbye. It is hard to accept this news. They leave a legacy of love and hard work. Their houses stand in the midst of poor neighborhoods in Maneadero. Their scholars are turning into chefs, lawyers, and therapists. The families and organizations they helped are thriving. Baja Missions may claim they are gone, but I can tell their impact will last for many more years. Love is timeless. Love is everlasting. And Baja Missions embody love.

Farewell, true friends. We deeply appreciate everything you have done for us. You will live in your houses, in your scholarships, and in our hearts forever. That’s the power of true friendship. That’s the power of love. That’s the power of the gospel.
